Elizabeth Fierman is a consultant to MC from her home in Chile. She designs and delivers training workshops, helps groups to build consensus around difficult issues, and conducts research. Her experience spans sectors and industries: As a senior associate at the Consensus Building Institute she trained managers in a global pharmaceutical company; managed and delivered an online negotiation course for the World Health Organization; and developed complex simulations for negotiation workshops. She also helped prepare materials for a workshop on climate change adaptation in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta, and for a course on wind energy for U.S. government officials.
Elizabeth earned a Master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, where she studied International Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, International Organizations, and United States Foreign Policy. She also served as Constituent Services Representative for U.S. Congressman Martin Meehan and as an International Elections Observer for the Organization of American States. She is a certified mediator and has provided mediation services in Massachusetts District Court.
She holds a B.A. from Haverford College and an M.A. in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. A resident of Chile, she speaks Spanish fluently.
